Seemed promising at #summitatsnoqualmie - lots of new snow, no lines at #dodgeridge. But it’s still coming down hard, the snow is thick and sticky, and it’s really hard to see. (Snow in your eyes? or wet goggles?) Rate 2/5.

#summitatsnoqualmie skiing is excellent tonight. Fast snow, no lines. Rate 4/5.
Did you really need to circle it?
#summitatsnoqualmie today: short lift lines, cause it’s Christmas, but otherwise a bust. Icy and poor visibility. Rate 2/5, don’t bother.
1966. so full of hope.
Conditions are improving, good visibility now, lift lines getting longer but still under 10 minutes. Lights have come on for the first night skiing of the season! It’s worth coming up.
2nd time up at #summitatsniqualmie. Mild temps, no precip, snow dense but not sticky. Low clouds and thick fog at the top. Short wait in the lift line. Rate 3/5.
First day of the season! Glad to get in a few runs at last, but conditions were poor. #summitatsnoqualmie
Light rain on and off, wet goggles, mild temps, thick low clouds, thick wet sticky snow, short lift line at West. Rate 2/5.
ok already there's a dealbreaker here on bluesky - i'm getting followed by people impersonating celebrities. gtfo.
I’m seeing the Seattle Symphony perform Hansel’s Messiah tonight. My mother would have loved this.
my favorite gift to receive is a record – an album i'm not familiar with, loved by the gift giver. almost always i love those records.
(now playing: the smile, "cutouts," given to me in a secret santa gift exchange at work.)
I'm working my way through my collection of Christmas records. Now playing: my fave Christmas song, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" by Andy Williams.

Opening day of ski season is here! All my life I wished winter would hurry up and be over, but for the past few years I've had a season ski pass, and now I love winter as much as I love summer!
