Honoured Cabal: a dia de los muertos themed bundle for 800 credits though it struggles to justify that price as though the visor and bandit model fit the theme, the only other item, the weapon coating completely misses the mark
In the sales this week!
Stellar eclipse: a fairly good Armour set and weapon model for 1500 credits with an Armour and a weapon coating, alone the Armour is fairly unobtrusive but together forms the visage of a skeleton, meaning this may be of intrest to a range of spartans
Account update
Going forward I will be separating the factual and informal sides of the account, each week I will make 1 thread consisting of everything in the sales and whether each bundle is worth your money, and a tweet per bundle exclusively stating what each consists of
To buy or not to buy?: unless you love the Forge family I'd give this one a miss
Ace of spades bundle:
Cost: 150 credits
Real world cost: 500 credits
Leftover credits: 350 credits
What's the bundle?: a weapon charm inspired by the ace of spades motif shared by John Forge and Rion Forge
Contents:
Ace of spades (weapon charm)
To buy or not to buy?: unless you have the spare 100 to make up the difference with 500 credits I'd suggest avoiding this
Haloween hero bundle:
Cost: 600 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits
Leftover credits: 400 credits
What's the bundle?: a Halloween themed purple and orange weapon coating
Contents:
Haloween hero (weapon coating)
To buy or not to buy?: for 2 items 1000 credits is far too much, no matter their supposed rarity
Exoglobin bundle:
Cost: 1000 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits
Leftover credits: N/A
What's the bundle?: a green splatter coating and Duke controller weapon charm
Contents:
Exoglobin (armour coating)
The Duke (weapon charm)
To buy or not to buy: whilst technically more impressive than the reckoning armour set with more biomass it is still roughly equivalent with the pass also coming with a flood weapon model and arguably even trumps contaminator with a pair of flood coatings on top of that for less
Contents:
Defiled SPNKR (weapon model)
Contaminator (helmet)
Cursed blisters (helmet attachment)
Cursed guard (shoulders)
Cursed vigour (chest)
Defiled drive (knees)
Cursed growths (utility)
Gauss forest (armour coating)
Contaminator bundle:
Cost: 1400 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits + 500 credits
Leftover credits: 100 credits
What's the bundle?: an alternative floodified mk5b to the one in the reckoning pass with a flood-ified rocket launcher
This week in halo infinite sales:
Contamintor: 30% off, 1400 credits
exoglobin: 29% off, 1000 credits
Haloween Hero: 25% off, 600 credits
Ace of spades: 25% off, 150 credits
To buy or not to buy?: this is one of few bundles to include multiple weapon models and most notably includes a classic style barrel for the battle rifle, though this would be better at 500 credits, it's definitely worth a pickup
Contents:
Type 2p flash hider (weapon model)
Critpoint shroud (weapon model)
Type 2a barrel shroud (weapon model)
Maltese mayhem (weapon coating)
Maltese mayhem bundle:
Cost: 600 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits
Leftover credits: 400 credits
What's the bundle?: an early example of weapon models in infinite
To buy or not to buy?: this wasn't worth it in season 1 and 800 credits does not feel worth it either for 3 items, no matter their supposed rarity
Imperial stance bundle:
Cost: 800 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits
Leftover credits: 200 credits
What's the bundle?: a fairly basic s1 yoroi bundle
Contents:
Imperial Court (armour coating)
Battle stance (stance)
Warrior-scholar (emblem)
To buy or not to buy?: this is even more than the other contents of the dragonborn superbundle for even less, and unlike its equally priced peer Achilles doesn't have any legacy appeal
Contents:
Scaleguard (weapon coating)
Spirited thoughts (armour effect)
Whisked away (kill effect)
Crimson Dawn (weapon model)
Wild warthog (weapon charm)
Crimson dawn bundle:
Cost: 1400 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits + 500 credits
Leftover credits: 100 credits
What's the bundle?: a bandit model variety of weapon customisation options as well as an armour effect
To buy or not to buy?: whilst this is a good bundle, 1400 credits feels a bit much for just an armour set and nothing else, though this may be worth it for you if you love Achilles
Contents:
Achilles (helmet)
Victors' crest (helmet attachment)
Achilles' pauldron (shoulders)
Achilles' breastplate (chest)
Achilles' plate (utility)
Achilles' protection (wrist)
Burn Scar (armour coating)
Achilles ascendant bundle:
Cost: 1400 credits
Real world cost: 1000 credits + 500 credits
Leftover credits: 100 credits
What's the bundle?: a reprise of the somewhat notorious halo 5 armour set for the price of 15 dollars instead of your soul
