Hey @duolingoverde.bsky.social I gave up on music after trying my entire teen years to get access to lessons. I came from poverty and it was out of reach. Even as an adult I was scared of trying again and being disappointed. I played on a real piano today with Duo Music. I’m so so emotional.

Yes but you are neurospicy, literally my current dissertation touches on we have high affective empathy and low cognitive empathy…my future research, that means we can’t intellectualize away pain like NTs and get away with “thoughts and prayers” ie you have an empathy shield lol
