Taking a day off from PAX east today but I gotta say being a Magic player has made this year so much fun!

I’ve hardly played any game demos yet so Sunday I’ll be demoing as many indies as possible and will report back!

I had a terrible tragedy with one of my birds this morning and I will be taking off streams for at least the next week.

I’m 9 months into returning to Magic and today I finally organized bulk and sleeved my rares!

I am close to having what I need for a FF, Lorwyn, and Avatar cube mostly from drafting at IRL events and 2 friends giving me their bulk after draft ♥️

Ya I just like taking fights as I go and not grinding intentionally. Usually I can clutch it out with strategy and trial and error but not if they force Doom every boss fight. Feels like very lazy game design to force you in a lane.

Really unhappy about the forced time limits on FFXIII. I could beat the boss in on if they didn’t cast doom 20 minutes in! Some of us like to force fights without grinding, why take away a perfect valid playstyle?

Glad I picked up the Metal Gear Solid HD collection physically! Not a fan of the delists with remakes just let us have all the versions 😭😭😭

Didn’t play my Switch/Switch 2 nearly as much as other platforms this year. But Silksong and DQ2HD2D is some of the best gaming 2025 had to offer! And ball x pit had me in its grips for a couple of weeks, definitely need to get back to it after the new update!

Looking back at 2025 the best thing I did was get back into Magic The Gathering thanks to the FF crossover!

I play irl most weeks to meet up with new friends to get out of the house to touch cardboard. The community has been super welcoming and I’m looking forward to more in 2026!
