I have two seater and three seater versions of that chair. Something like ยฃ150 from British Heart Foundation. Bargain and so comfortable.

The first qualification I remember was England in 1974. Poland knocked us out then and we didn't qualify for 1978 either. I found myself cheering on Scotland and although they didn't get past the group stage I'll always remember Archie Gemmal's great goal. The 1978 final was on my 16th birthday.
Unfortunately most clubs have a contingent of young scrotes. Our lot tried squaring up to a bunch of hard northerners from Bury outside Kingsmeadow and came off worse. Lengthy bans to the relief of our travelling plod who'd had to babysit them a Fratton Park not long before.
Agreed but our needs come first.
Sorry. We have injuries to key players. If they end up getting splinters from the bench, I won't be happy.
Looking at the table, you would appear to be safe. Did Kai score or was it an own goal?
Mikey T confirmed earlier. 5th goal for us, 4th of this season and the first non-header.
Fair enough. I have other podcasts racked up. All the best to you both. Oh, and you've sent me down the rabbit hole of cover versions.
I absolutely love Wild is the Wind.
Cover versions.
Denis by Blondie.
All along the watchtower by U2.
Helter Skelter by U2.
Tomorrow never knows by Phil Collins.
The Long and winding road by George Michael.
The sound of silence by Disturbed.
What makes for a good cover is something different and a great vocal.
Interesting but not a patch on the original version.
I never really got Hendrix until I was well into my thirties although I was alive when he shuffled of this mortal coil.
No podcast this week? Due to Leyton Orient doing a number on us I'm not listening to anything Wimbledon related.
My late ma made her own wine and she made wheat wine and once fermented threw the dregs on the compost heap. Cue numerous sparrows swooping down then flying off very unsteadily. Very funny. This made mum's obituary which I read out to a packed church. It wasn't a sombre occasion.
I saw that on FB earlier. Probably a Prem winner's medal before halfway through his GCSEs. Great goal too but what was Pickford doing so far up?
I guess you're in Newcastle? I can't be arsed to go to Satanage. I've been there twice before and it's a shit hole.
I've just got to the Millwall discussion. I'm a qualified steward. I needed to earn some money and I signed up with a company that did The Den. After my first match, I made sure that I worked the away end as dealing with pissed but amiable away supporters was preferable to dealing obnoxious home.
Getting time off for weeknights has been a pain. I don't do away matches as a rule but home matches are sacrosant. The amount of holiday I've to book this season for football is stupid. Cheers Sky, not.
Okay, I'll look for the highlights tomorrow. You've changed, you used to do most away matches. No criticism as I only do those that I can afford which is just Luton and Reading this season.
What was Ossie's goal like and did Kai play well?
I work for Sainsbury's deep in Palace/Dulwich Hamlet territory. Chatting to a Palace supporter earlier, he was quite confident that they'd get a result.
๐ Video footage of an amazing save turned up on an AFC Wimbledon WhatsApp group. My response? That's why he's England's No.1.
They can FRO. We've spent money developing these players so we deserve the pittance they give us. Should be more.
I've seen the goals. Not sure about Ossie's goal celebration but Kai's goal was a cracker. Bodes well for next season and gets you another step closer to safety.
A Sunday again? Could there be a Friday or post match Saturday one at some point?
We started badly and went in 0-2 down at half time. We turned it around and won 5-3. I don't get to many AFC Wimbledon Women's matches due to work but I stuck it out and am so glad I did.
Different times. Shades of Carry on Doctor.
That was funny.
I also lost a lot of blood and had to have a transfusion. Very worrying for my parents watching their 6yo go through that as the cause was unknown and my great grandfather was in the same hospital dying of Leukemia.
I was as right as rain within a couple of weeks.
A thing about tonsils in the 60s was it was the done thing to have your child's tonsils removed. Subsequently the waiting list was about six months from seeing the consultant.
I was wasting away due to frequent bouts and not being able to eat. I was admitted within two weeks. @samwhyte.bsky.social
Kai out of favour?
There was always beef between Sutton and Carshalton. Despite not having played each other for 15 years or more (county cups aside) Sutton supporters have always celebrated match anniversaries against their borough adversaries. Not that I blame them.
