The CR 61 & FR 21 classes did have replacement boilers but were basically just variants. Stand alone NW Ed would need at least one replacement in time so that provides the perfect excuse to exceed the modest 150psi starting point while his 'shy steaming' could also be remedied by greater generation.

What it would take to bring Edward up a 2P rating came in convo recently. Pettigrew's 130 Class pair & their follow up were a modest chunk against the Sharp Stewart design but with the same driver dia & similar cylinder specs actually offer decent insight on how much for Crovan's Gate to carry out.
Ah nice and some cracking shots there π Boxhill was only partly visible where its was parked up when visiting York some years ago but quite neat to picture the little tank in charge of a rake of stagecoaches π
Aslett and Edward, a winning combination π

Character I love, and 5 mutuals to do the same:
(It's hard to picture Burns without the cigar chomping Cyril Sneer, though do like they mined his softer side at times too)

I'm delighted to reveal that Richie and Eddie are the latest characters in the Buggleskelly Station range.
They may be a couple of poor sad gits, but they really would make a smashing cameo on your model railway or diorama.

Since the announcement of our Custom Wagon Service, we've seen a shedload of interesting and bespoke models created. Some of you have really let your creativity go wild, which is awesome.
We want you to unleash this creativity with a camera, too. Share some photos or videos of your Custom Wagons!
2 Weeks until my Ffarquhar Branch's first show of the year starts. Hoping to have Stepney's Enthusiasts train completed before then. Only a few small details and painting is left to do to them before they're ready to go out.
Our range's gradual expansion of accurate pre-grouping wagon prototypes has been enhanced with some eastbound freight!
Our factory has sent us painted prototypes of the upcoming OO Gauge Great Eastern 5 & 7-Plank Open Wagons.
We expect them to arrive at the start of Q2.
Type 1 being done away with. Three frames down but at least have an idea for the length of the wharf carriage & wagon workshop!
*Just a side note that lambing has begun so for the next 9 weeks it'll be difficult to keep up with replies, particularly ones involving cross-referencing multiple sources.
It's #wagonweds!
Wasn't satisfied with the Skarloey Railway workmen coaches being single compartments so decreeing the ones vaguely seen in Very Old Engines are wagons with removable benches/planks and these six Model Engineers Laser freelances are the upgrades similar to the Ffestiniog
