That is interesting! I'm susceptible to plant allergens and it was awful when I briefly lived in a ground floor flat in central London. Unhelpfully (but good overall for the environment) we have a huge number of trees in this city. The higher up I am the fresher the air seems (maybe obvious)

if only we knew what germans were building rockets in the 30s, this mystery would be solved

it was unusually dry this weekend. I think re: pollution it varies; high humidity can prevent pollution from escaping into the upper atmosphere, but low humidity can make it easier for dust and other pollutants to get into the air in the first place

some parts are much worse than others; I feel fine in and around Stratford but as soon as I go across London into Greenford I start coughing

More in Common has two polls which run in parallel, a conventional poll and an MRP.

They churn up similar figures on %s, but the MRP is kinder to Green seat totals, likely because their vote is more concentrated.

to modify this somewhat:

you are one of a secret organization of mages who understand the potential of future adventurers and help them to realize their abilities

you are sent to a small village to mess up the life of a local so much that they quit and take up adventuring

My dad's cat got hit by a car last week. He's going to be okay, and he wasn't permanently hurt, but he needed emergency care.

If you'd like to donate to help cover the vet bills, that would be very much appreciated.

If not, warm wishes are equally welcome โ™ฅ๏ธ

Although Trump has performed well with Christians generally, his best performances have been with non-chruchgoing, non-denominational Christians.

I wonder if GBN is trying to find something simpler in the UK - people who identify as Christian, but are not actually interested in religion.

things i have learnt about the green party since i joined:

- didn't think i would need my philosophy degree but i do
- leafletting cult 2
- weirdly not sanctimonious at all, they eat meat and use cloud services

While I'm broadly supportive of the conclusion here, I'm not sure about the premise. Extremism is notoriously fuzzy to define, and the various dictations of ministers in defining it - some of them with extremist connections themselves - shed very little light on the matter.

I should probably stay out of this, but I feel like Robert is being a bit proscriptive here. As a fellow fictional vampire I think we need to be aware of our own power and how that intersects with human needs
