For the past few months we have been unable to pay for our home and can barely find ways to keep up on utilities. Right now we're in danger of losing our home if we're not able to procure roughly $4500.00 before August 21st. Some background, my spouse was fired over her disability near the end of last year when her previous employer switched the company from being remote only to being in office only. Since my spouse's disability makes it difficult to leave home, she was not able to comply with this new policy and was unjustly fired without being provided any accommodations that the law requires companies to provide. This has put us in a legal battle which has drained all of our funds and has made life difficult while she has been trying to find more remote work. On my end, I was recently diagnosed with cervical kyphosis and degenerative disc disease in my neck, which has been making life hard to navigate as there is less and less that I can do physically. Thankfully we were able to get on Medicaid to help with any medical related costs for my treatments, but this has made me not be able to work in my current state. I've included a link to my kofi if anyone is able to safely donate anything, or even just to share. The current goal is $6000 to get the funds to cover what we need to keep our home for at least a little longer while my spouse can hopefully find work again, and a little extra wiggle room to help with utilities for a bit.
