Yeah, though I spent a lot of the con working, I was able to get some pretty good moments connecting with friends.

I've been trying to get out of the house more to improve my mental health. For the first time in my life, I'm gaining the confidence to enter the world and do things on my own.

The pool parties at @lasvegasfurcon.org were simply off the hook. I felt like I was in the coolest party I’d ever seen, something you’d see in a movie. Animals everywhere, in the pool or sunbathing. And that was the first time I’ve ever been caught in a furry generated whirlpool!

Exactly one month after losing my house, I've been forced to give up my daughter. I don't know what to say right now. I'm just deeply sad and trying to process what's happened.

I spent most of last week confined to my bedroom with the flu. Despite how much I hated my life for several days there, I gave thought to the fact that being sick and feeling miserable doesn't allow you to be rude and mean to people—especially to those who are trying to accommodate and help you.

My house is officially no longer mine. This hurts so much.

I am so tired of people taking advantage of me, pushing me around, and being abusive. The people I'm spending Christmas morning with don't want me here—and the feeling is mutual.

I wish I had my own place to call home and the toxic people in my life could wallow in their misery away from me.

I noticed the same thing in my lawn. (As a transplant to the midwest, this is new to me.)

I'm tempted to make a tech-related job board, with the following criteria:

- No AI
- No blockchain
- Every job must allow 100% remote as an option
- Compensation must be fully transparent

Anxiety was bad, so I had an edible in the airport while waiting for my next flight. Got the munchies. Went to the store to get some gummy bears. They wanted $8 for a bag!

Why is it so often when I'm at my lowest points and my head is filled with dark thoughts that no one is around or available to talk?

I apologize for using this account to vent my depression, but sometimes it seems that shouting into the ether is the only thing I've got.

I'm really struggling; my anxiety is sky high, and I want the pain to stop. I wish I had local friends to hang and cuddle with, because I do not want to be home right now, but I have nowhere I can go.

I'm just going to get high and try to sleep.

I hiked two trails today, a total of 8 miles, climbing over 750 feet. A trail guide rated one of the hikes as "difficult" and read to allow at least 2 hours to reach the summit.

I did it in 50 minutes. Suck that, trail guide.

I'm feeling accomplished.

Since 2022, I've managed a divorce, breakups, lying, cheating, hospitalizations, arrests, suicide, and three job losses. I'm financially ruined; my best option now, sell my house.

I don't think anyone understands the amount of time and work I've put into this place. I feel defeated and really sad.
