This is basically a screenshot redraw from the series finale as Finn and Jake contemplate all they’ve been through, just before the Music Hole sings Come Along with Me and we see where the characters go in the future. The perfect balance of complete adventures and everything left to come!! (2/2)

The World is a card of completion and wholeness. You can look back on what you’ve accomplished, now having a whole world of new opportunities in front of you. (1/2)

Day 21, Lemongrab as Judgement
Judgement says to make your own judgements, resolve what can be fixed then let go of the rest.
Lemongrab is nasty, but wants to be known. He is stubborn, but slowly relaxes. This card references the episode The Mountain, where he deals with these problems.

Day 18, James Baxter as The Sun
The Sun heralds success AND happiness, warns about burnout, and is a symbol of freedom and fun!
James Baxter is a symbol of happiness, and Finn and Jake really respect him. His backstory talks about motivation and success, and what it takes to be a happy creative

Day 17, BMO as the Moon
The moon is a card of creativity and shifting through the phases of life without rushing yourself! I chose one of the most imaginative characters, BMO, and drew him from a scene where he’s thinking about growing up and how it can change you.

Day 16, Sweet P as The Star
The Star is the classic good luck car, and represents hope for the future. Sweet P is a new start for the Lich, and transformed him into a sweet and loving boy with a bright future. He also gave Tree Trunks and Mr. Pig a new start in their marriage!!

Day 15, Finn’s arm as The Tower
The Tower says everything must fall so it can be built back better. Finn losing his arm destroyed his perception of the world and of himself, but through that loss he became the caring, mature, self-aware and less-violent (lol) hero we know at the end of the show

Day 14, summoning Golb as The Devil
The Devil warns of mounting pressures and energy that need to be dealt with before they explode. Both Betty and Magic Man’s plotlines leave you wondering what they’re up to until that potential explodes in the finale by summoning the literal god of chaos!!!

Day 12, the Nightmare Potion as Temperance
Temperance is the card of harmony and balance, and seeing both sides of a conflict. Finn and Jake using the nightmare potion on PB and Gumbald forced them to see each others perspectives, even though they chose to use that information very differently.

The tree house being destroyed in the finale is a devastating loss for the characters and the viewers, but it allows the new Fern tree to grow. (2/2)

Day 12, the crushed tree house / Fern seed as Death
I know drawing Death or the Lich is a gimme for the Death card, but the Death card doesn’t actually refer to someone dying (and definitely not the extinction of life on earth), but refers to a painful loss that leads to new ways to grow (1/2)

Day 13, Fern as the Hanged Man
The Hanged Man indicates being stuck in an unhappy situation, and says the solution is to release control, step back, and think outside the box for a solution
This reminded me of Fern, being stuck with the grass curse and how he was unable to find peace until the end

Day 12, Flame Princess as Justice
Justice is the card of truth, integrity, and getting what you’re owed as long as you persist and refuse to be intimidated or exploited. FP’s story of refusing to bend to her father and re-founding the flame kingdom with Cinnamon Bun on truth is perfect for Justice!

Day 11, Blue Jake + artist Jermaine as the Wheel of Fortune
The Wheel of Fortune heralds an upturn in luck if you take control, and natural cycles moving from a negative space to a positive one. This reminded me of Jake learning to accept his identity in Abstract, and how that improved his life

Day 10, LSP as the Hermit
The Hermit tells you to ignore influence and follow your own path. LSP is so incapable of being anything but 100% authentically herself at all times, I thought it was a good fit. I drew her in her hermit era, specifically referencing the episode Be Sweet!
