Yeah, I really....hate that I didn't get that dash in there.
I resent that re-sent can be spelled resent.

I have extremely disrupted sleep and so my sympathy goes to everyone.
I had real issues with somnambulism and night terrors as a kid, and now I just have disrupted sleep. I call it that because I have no idea what happens but it's not a lot of sleep.
I resent everything i hope you get it, Dia, and i still check disco every once in a while.
I miss you <3

You will never believe the context.
It becomes really nuts when you consider story framing of it vs. , say.... Wicker Man (the only one that counts, not the bees one).
It makes me want to see Mark Frost's copy of The Golden Bough.
Been turning folk horror stories in my mind as I put together a sketch for a story I've been wanting to write. . . and am impressed with the incredible example of folk horror that Twin Peaks is.
Great article.
Bonus: awesome journalist who isn't on substack.
It makes me want to knit everything that way every time I do it. I should figure out cabling in Portuguese style, then I'd fully convert
Anytime I'm doing large rows of purls - that's how I'm doing them (your owl sweater was done with knit going forward, Portuguese style purling back.
the original pic you posted may also have a necklace, it's the same concept - the tension is held to the front of the work

You can use anything in a pinch, using a pin helps with the two color portugese knitting
It's a knitting pin - I love mine! I use that style of knitting often, especially if I have to move through a lot of purls.
She loops it around her neck , but you can use the pin:

I hope she is better at standing up for Pennsylvanians than her husband, a health insurance exec at UPMC, was at standing up for people being sexually harassed in his department for months.
I have receipts.
The world is slipping into frightening, honestly.
My grandmother would be happy to tell you about how the war was one of Northern Aggression, etc. etc.
Half of my father's side was from North Carolina (south) and the other half was from Pennsylvania (his mum was from the south, and dad was from PA in the north) .
The civil war was close enough my grandmother said she married my grandfather to keep fighting yankees.
It's beautiful, the accent is beautiful, and you shouldn't be embarrassed about your accent! But...I say this as someone who worked to have a less regional accent (the people who raised me were from the American south)
