Recast Leaders aim to revitalize local economies – Common Ground This Recast City program has worked with more than 200 cities in 44 states over the past 11 years.

With support from the Michigan Municipal League, Recast City is bringing its nationally proven community‑building program to six Michigan communities. We’re excited to see how this innovative opportunity strengthens local economies across the state!

Marine City wayfinding project launches action plan for economic growth – Common Ground New wayfinding signage will connect four business districts and help boost the local economy.

The Michigan Municipal League and the MML Foundation took a deep dive into Marine City, creating an opportunity report tailored to the community’s unique needs.

Now, Marine City is putting those recommendations into action!

Eastpointe chosen to participate in downtown revitalization program EASTPOINTE — The city of Eastpointe will be joining six other communities to participate in an effort aimed at revitalizing downtowns.

We’re closing 2025 strong! Through our LSLR Capital Stacks Pilot, we consulted 100+ experts, hosted 7 meetings, and identified 8 scalable financing strategies—plus $10M in potential savings for each pilot community. 2026 = interactive course!
