Hi #GreenSky! It’s time I did some scicomm and wrote a primer on methanogenesis and livestock and why it matters for methane emissions.

Methanogens are the tiny little archaea - they’re not bacteria! - that live in livestock guts and rice paddies and other things and make methane.
