At the end of today’s meeting Council member @lynnhurtak.com shared that the mayor had told her she’s no longer allowed to tour/visit/ride-a-long with city staff during “campaign season.” Which is a new policy. Chair Clendenin motioned to request mayor to rescind policy; passed 6-0 Carlson absent.

I've been working on getting council to really dive into the budget for several years. Tomorrow night at city hall we are holding our first-ever pre-budget discussion & public hearing. Let us know what you want!

Big news! I’m running for mayor of Tampa!

For our first date, @bubbaprog.xyz came up to Gainesville from Tampa, and I took him to Satchel's as a thank you for helping me write my grandmother's eulogy. We'd met at a Fark party at the Howard Johnson's at 50th and Columbus in Tampa a week prior.
