Coming out statement from June 1st, 2022 I've been thinking a lot about my identity over the past year. I think I am genderfluid, and I change between being male and female. I sometimes closer identify to one of those two. I sometimes feel fine being male while sometimes I feel I would be happier being female. I started questioning my gender about 2 years ago and knew I was transgender about a year ago. After feeling some signs and talking it over with a therapist, I am feeling confident this is my true self and it isn't just a phase. I think I would be fine with any pronouns, but I think I will try they/them. Depending on my current gender I will like being called he/him when male or she/her when female. You can also just ask me! Regarding my username - Yes, "Meester" is derived from a masculine word, though the way I spell it isn't an English word. However, I like my username a lot and as of now I don't think I'll change using Meester Tweester. I (thankfully) feel safe coming out to my family. I live in a LGBT accepting city as well. For now I think I won't be presenting differently in public until I feel comfortable about it. If you know me in real life I ask that you don't share I am transgender until I'm ready. If you have any questions for me, now is a great time to ask!

I’ve made games for a few different retro systems (Atari, DOS, and now Game Boy) and always find a very particular pleasure in running them on original hardware. Ten-year-old me is utterly gobsmacked that this is possible.
