A comic in the "bad habits" series by saucypaws. This is page 1 of 3. 1st and 2nd panels. We see two girls (Dani and Jenna) sharing a couch watching music television in comfortable clothes and pyjamas. There are cans of drinks and snacks lying on the table in front of them, and Dani is cradling a big bowl of popcorn. On the TV, we see the lead singer of a band, who has plenty of piercings on show. 3rd panel. "I wanna get piercings," says Dani. "My mom won't let me... I should do it anyway." She leans back against Jenna, who looks surprised. 4th panel. Jenna blushes and looks away. Dani keeps on talking. "I think I have enough saved... hey, why's your heart beating so fast?"
Page 2 of 3. 1st panel. "It's really not.." says Jenna, suddenly embarrassed, but Dani quickly responds with glee, leaning even more against her friend. "It totally is, I can feel it! Maybe you're having a stroke like Mr. Nelson," she says, not leaving any time in between sentences. "Do you smell burnt toast? Why are you being so quiet?" 2nd panel. Jenna breaks from her previous uncomfortable stoic pose and squirms. "I don't know!!" she whines. "Why are you naking it weird?" 3rd panel. A moment of silence. Dani blushes this time now, seemingly thinking something over. 4th panel. When Dani speaks again, it's with much less flippancy and excitement. "...is it because of that stuff we did?" she asks, looking guilty. She curls up a little and dips her head, almost hiding behind the popcorn bowl, so much so that she tilts it and ends up spilling some. "Sorry... we probably shouldn't talk about it, eh?"
Page 3 of 3. 1st panel. Neither of the girls can look each other in the eye. They both seem shy about what has just been referenced. "Um... yeah... I guess not," Jenna nervously replies to Dani. "But like... why..? Was it like... bad for you?" 2nd panel. "No..." Dani mumbles, still averting her eyes. "I'm just not like that... y'know?" 3rd panel. After a little pause, they finally look back at each other. "But it was pretty cooool..." Dani admits. 4th panel. The two girls finally meet eyes for real. Dani tilts her head back, Jenna looks down. There are no words shared between them, but they seem to share an understanding.
