1.With a few accessories like the cape, belt and satchel we create the iconic hooded look
2.With colour variations we create different characters from the universe
3.With some custom geometries like Lekkus and Yoda‘s ears, we personalise the models
I typically prefer to focus on the next models and try not to dwell too much on past ones, but the Jedi&Sith base model + the cape and cawl will become the base of future Models and I need that to be as clean as possible.

I just need to remember not to push the print settings too much (.10mm layer height) when doing multi colour + timelapse + complex shapes as it leads to a ton of artefacts and surface defects.

Wrapping up this model by making the wings printable/assemblable and printing them! I am excited to assemble the little Cupid Deadpool!

I even prepared a multicoloured version with gradient feathers (Pink to White) & it reminded me of the fire/devil wings in some world of warcraft models!
I couldn‘t figure out how to model the wings and repositioned / pushed vertices left and right so many times. And even now I made some mistakes leading to visual clutter that could be simplified. But I gotta learn to call it done at one point cause perfection is the enemy of done.
Obviously late to the party but I decided to stay positive and think of it as being ready really early for next year‘s Valentine‘s day!

But my old models were all created with Cura and my CR10 and I back then I could not have multiple plates in one clean .3MF file. So I always
Ended up with tons of 3MF and gcode files
Ask and I shall deliver! Within reasons 🫠!
I got a few requests to provide 3mf files for my models and I definitely will in the future as I upgraded to an bambulab H2D last year.
Sometimes you have to just zoom in to reveal the details! Much lines very sexy!

But ok I have to admit that since getting my H2D from @Bambulab, I really have to zoom in on my pictures to see the layer lines now as printing with finer resolution is possible at great speed and my models have become much more complex with textured surfaces.
When used correctly thick layers are incredibly sexy and actually highlight the tech behind while enhancing the model. Plus they add strength to any parts by providing better bounding and avoiding delamination. When the printer is tuned and the filament dry, they make incredible macro shots.
Controversial 🔥 take 👉🏼 I love thick layer lines and I think it’s silly to automatically dismiss 3D printed models or part as cheap or ugly.
