It sure is weird seeing my apartment with all the art and stuff off the walls, but for a good reason. We got the keys to the new place and im looking forward to the next chapter! What a cool experience to live downtown for 18 months though.

Finally got my sticker from @spikhyenna.bsky.social on my daily driver as well.

POV: You're a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra first thing in the morning.

No physical changes, its all software limited. There's been no prolonged testing since the cars are newer, but likely no more maintenence than normal. If anything it should reduce any possible future clutch replacements from me over torquing the clutches. The car pulls insanely hard now.

There's a few other small odds and ends pieces but the other big noticeable difference is just how fast it shifts. It was quick before but (adorning to the tuner) now shifts 70% faster. Its noticeable but not sure about almost double. It does shift with conviction now though, no hesitation.

The DQ381 in the Mk8 is really good stock, but the main issue is its only programmed to provide so much hydraulic pressure on the clutches. It limits the torque you can safely produce before it just slips... so the main difference is increasing the pressure to handle more torque.

GTI is finally complete apart from a few visual mods. The 401 TCU was cracked so we loaded a transmission tune and the full torque E85 map. Also had matrix headlights coded in at the same time. Car pulls insanely hard now and the lights are the coolest thing ever!

I gotta admit, Bewhiskered really didnt hit right for me this year and idk why. It wasnt all bad. Dinners with friends, meeting new people at the car show... but idk, just wasnt my thing. I spent more time home than at con I think.
