Last Friday (26 Sept), ELTE joined the Researchers’ Night at Ericsson House, Budapest.
Their demo “How much bandwidth does a household need?” showed how Quality of Service (QoS) and the per-packet value method (developed in #DESIRE6G) help manage home internet traffic.

Yesterday we kicked off our 8th consortium meeting. We covered WP1, WP6 and WP2 and enjoyed a nice social dinner in the city center.

Here, congestion is simulated by injecting multiple 130 Mbps flows. The telemetry system detects the bottleneck and autonomously reroutes flows via optical bypass switches (O1, O2), maintaining QoS and trust levels. Topology updates and routing decisions are shown in real time via our dashboard.

In Scenario 2, a manual trust downgrade triggers automatic rerouting via a secure optical backup path. The Dashboard updates in real time, showing how the system adapts to maintain trusted, reliable service under changing conditions.
