This weekend The Neon will be hosting their 20th Anniversary Out Here Dayton Film Fest! A lineup of queer cinema that runs the emotional gamut will be shown from the 9th to the 11th. The lineup can be found at outheredayton.org and students can apply for free tickets via the scholarship.
I also want to give a quick shout out to the Gatlyn Dame Group, PFLAG Dayton, the Dayton Gay Men's Chorus, Closet Transformation, and the numerous others who made this event possible. Don't despair if you missed out, however, because the summit will be back next year on October 17th.
If you missed the summit at The Dayton Metro Library, you missed out on an amazing event. All of the speakers including Robin Gow, Lajmar Anderson, and the the gentlemen from BTMOhio were absolutely wonderful.

On October 4th, the Dayton Metro Library will once again be hosting a summit on transgender history. Titled "We'll Always Be Here," this event, which will run from 10am-5pm will feature keynote speaker Robin Gow , workshops, crafts, lectures, and lunch provided by PFLAG Dayton.
