Wow. That ending sequence is insane. This game is so beautifully lonely with its massive world. I'll admit I never would've beaten this game without a guide, but I think the general direction of the game in feel more than made up for some of the "how was I supposed to get that?" puzzle design.

Scrabdackle (ACT 1)
Yeah, this game is only a third of the way done, but don't doubt that it is some INCREDIBLE STUFF. the gameplay is some top notch stuff that really gets you lost in this huge world Jakefriend crafted. Not to mention the MUSIC OH MY GOD!!! I can't wait for the next acts

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
as of writing this I last played this game in march of 2025 but damn this game was super chill!
dig the visuals and general vibe of the game, all the tracks are instant hits whenever a new one comes on. mod support made this game even better.

this game's visuals are super sharp and i love the areas and the character designs
the music greatly helped with immersion and i liked a lot of the big boss tracks
the gameplay is stellar, the almost puzzle-like battle system makes this a very hard game to put down

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon
this game is the game that definitely took the longest to 100% out of everything on this list
that being said i love this little rougelike puzzle game. its visual style is SO GORGEOUS I CAN EAT IT and ost is perfect thinking music and the gameplay is sharp. i love ts gam

Bad End Theater
similar to the henry stickmin collection, this game was a very short but sweet little visual novel
all the little routes are so terrible in various ways which ends up making the final ending a very satisfying one
ALSO before i forget the monochrome palettes in this game are fire.

Minishoot Adventures
a super fun bullethell metroidvania zelda-like that tought me how fun zeldalikes are, also the ships in this game are so cute and i love the lil beep noises they make
challenging game that had me hooked for a long while, and it definitely left me satisfied afterwards

Gravity Circuit
i never played a megamanx-like until this game, and im so glad this was my introduction
this game is so damn fun and smooth, its visuals are appealing and easy to read, its ost was BANGING. and its got my favorite trope of all time the LOOKALIKE RIVAL(kinda)

Haiku the Robot
i always love me a good old metroidvania, and this one kept me occupied for a while
its very close to hollow knight in terms of gameplay and was a very satisfying experience
im not sure how i came across it tbh but im glad i did cuz it was super fun

Celeste
this game was a total blast (not acknowledging the mental turmoil it put me through playing it), i've always loved its simple visuals and GOD its music made me close to crying from the sheer emotional power alone
overall very fun game not even considering the modding community

Henry Stickmin Collection
so much nostalgia when this game came out and, though it only took me 5.1 hours to get all the achievements, it was a super fun game and super comforting during the tough time of 2021

my guesses as to why they weren't included as of yet were likely due to work limits cuz paradox pack (the update these 3 were introduced as bosses in) was pretty huge as is and 3 extra characters to boot would've likely been too much cuz they'd have to take quandaries and stuff into account

this begs several questions:
were these three planned to be playable at some point, why weren't they given playable slots, and will they be playable in a later dlc or update? i will hold out hope because honestly these characters are cool and id love to play as them
