Had the chance to go see Project Hail Mary once again. This time in Imax 70mm…and I felt the power of cinema in ways I haven’t in a long time.

New personal work!
Very much inspired by Death Stranding.
Decided to show some of the quick and dirty design sketches I make while exploring ideas. Going back and forth with sketches and basic 3d until Im happy with the design. (Keep in mind I would clean up the sketches if they are for a client)

A kind of cybernetic hyena moving menacingly in search of spare parts. Its torso is massive and its head is low. The limbs are equipped with synthetic muscles, covered by fairings.

A kind of robotic insect with a shell, perched on a chassis with 4 large and thick legs like the arachnids of Starship Troopers. Its joints are covered by rubber bellows. It is represented moving at a gallop.

A robotic creature that is difficult to describe, it has 2 very "muscular" back legs and 2 front legs, slender and taking a timid position. It has a shell. Its head is tiny and tucked into its dorsal shell. It has a flat tail, made of mobile plates like Trilobites or Platerodrilus.

A variation of the previous robotic creature, it has 2 very "muscular" back legs and 2 front legs with fingers like those on a human hand. It has an articulated shell. Its head resembles that of a deer and advances forward in a wary manner. It has a flat tail, made of mobile plates in the manner of Trilobites or Platerodrilus.
