Totally agree, just have to look across the street and see the shambles that the Egyptian Halls are to see the state things have been in. Hopefully this will be a wake up call.

Horrifying to see this historic corner of my city gone. Amazing work from all the firefighters to ensure the blaze didn’t spread to the station or the hotel. A miracle no-one was killed.

I didn’t excuse all of his actions, just this one directly related to his disability. I don’t see that as infantilising him, I see it as understanding his condition.

The man is disabled, recognised by the UK (under the Equality Act 2010) and the US (under the Americans with Disabilities Act). Would you ask someone who was paralysed to apologise for not being able to walk? It’s a matter why should he have to apologise for his disability, than why can’t he.

Yeah I thought it was a unique spin on the suika game template. I also have some bosses. One is called Compressor, you’ll never guess what it does…

Shaders are fun! Been messing around with my wee mobile game. Based some of these on movies, consoles and games. How many can you name?

I’ve been making a Suika-like rogue-lite as a palate cleanser. It’s called Total Tension. Big emphasis on combo score, power ups and synergies. This is footage from the anti gravity boss, which slows gravity. Also - THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN! 😬

Also just managed to implement importing Lists from your @archive.org account into Archivist. Today’s been a good day! Next patch is going to be a big one! Got a bit more testing and tidying up to do but it should be out by this time next week!

Between this and the MacStories feature and Brad and Will’s pod, it's been incredible to see the support for a native mobile, privacy-first gateway to the @archive.org collection.

A video of p2p (QR/URL) folder sharing in Archivist (to add visual context to my last post). Hard to get the sharing concept across when on a single emulated device, but I hope you get the idea. If the recipient doesn't have the app, it will open on the store page. Thoughts? @willsmith.fun

Peer-to-peer folder sharing is working.

Folder➡️ Minify➡️ Serialise(json)➡️ Compress(GZip)➡️ Encode(Base64)➡️ Transport(URL/QR)

The link is the payload. Receiver opens link, if the app is installed, it is opened and folder is added. If not, store front is opened so user can download the app.
