it might be the fact ive listened to previous releases so much that ofc it'll be hard for newer releases to live up to that on the first listen, but in my defense i do give these releases a chance and its only to a point where the releases are consistently disappointing me that i start to lose love😕

i do feel like theres a pattern for me of the longer i like an artist the less i start to enjoy their new stuff, could be completely normal with how artists are constantly experimenting with their sound but there are some exceptions that make me think it's a me problem for the others

did not enjoy the adrenaline beat drop(?) in the chorus but i did like the rest of the song so i'll probably get used to it 😬 but hey they're sexy

truly like breaking it up into four parts was such a good idea and the artistry of it all... i want to be in his (and his creative team's) brain(s)
