The worst is, because of the awful quality audio I frequently got delivered, I couldn‘t even get a good end result. Shit in shit out. & ofc, if the audio is bad, people blame the audio engineer. It reflects poorly on me. So I‘ve been doing all that work for what amounts to a disgrace to my name.

for a last minute change, gotten headaches from having to listen to distorted, scratchy audio for hours on end & much, much more. The majority of this unpaid, mind you. & It’s not just this film, this has been my experience with all but one filmmakers I’ve ever worked with. I‘m done with it.

I‘ve had deadlines set that were impossible to meet, audio delivered that was so bad in quality that it was fully unsalvagable (and then was questioned why I couldn‘t fix it), been asked what I even did when I spent hours trying to salvage horrible quality audio, asked to throw hours of work away
