It's remarkable that the FCC is proposing to eliminate some of the rules against spam telemarketing calls and other robocalls. And it's buried on pp. 27-31 of an otherwise innocuous filing. Who is asking for this??

You know what will get me to avoid Facebook faster than their reversal on fact-checking? Making me solve a barely legible captcha EVERY single time I log in. What's up with this?

An important story that doesn't get enough coverage: Google search no longer indexes many web sites that offer original, free content. These useful sites are now dying off as a result, and we are left with SEO spam and AI-generated slop.
