And to clarify, OF COURSE the local District Attorney has jurisdiction - regardless of whether the federal government cooperates. a shooting resulting in death is absolutely within the jurisdiction, and the shooter’s status as a federal agent does not remove that jurisdiction.

It might well be that the driver could have been charged with a crime for driving dangerously near the agent - possibly even attempted homicide.

But the agent doesn’t get to be judge, jury and executioner and just kill her because he thinks that’s what happened.

The video seems to show the officer stepping aside, out of the way of the car - then shooting the driver as she passed by.

If that’s what happened, it’s a homicide - you can’t shoot someone for fleeing or bc you’re mad at them for threatening you with their car.
