Gerrards Cross completed. The double storey extension was pulled away from the main house creating an atrium that brought light to the kitchen and bedrooms into the home and provided a large entertaining space well connected to the garden. A glazed bridge connected the house to the second floor.

Rammed earth is a fantastic building system that works with nature and is intrinsically biophilic. Please contact our office if you are interested in building this way.

Nature is dying everywhere
Germany’s dying forests are losing their ability to absorb CO2
Since 2010, the amount absorbed by land has fallen by a third and continues to decline.

Swifts’ decline: how can Britons help these remarkable birds? Campaigners are calling for compulsory ‘swift bricks’ in new homes to provide nesting sites

Swift bricks and bee bricks can easily be incorporated into masonry walls. Nature and biodiversity need to come first and not last in architecture and building.
