😍 I adore them. Snails, slugs, and that impossible groundhog murder any primula I plant. 🤣

Thank you 😊 I've got a specialist appointment lined up but it's at the end of December. Until then, I will wobble along at a moderate pace 🤣

In theory, I have not made concrete plans due to health stuff.

I'm glad you enjoyed them. Flowers are meant for sharing.

💚💜 Spring blooms are wonderful motivation to make small plans and keep looking forward.

The strange cycle of freezes followed by unseasonably warm days has my current flower beds looking as bleak and depressing as the news feed. So I've dug up some Spring blooms because the dark days aren't forever.

Ugh, we have Lonestar ticks in abundance.

Oh no, it's quite the opposite here. Still and warmer than usual. Not a bad Monday despite the hectic schedule 😁. I'm looking forward to excavating my walkways from under all the leaf fall.

Oldy but goodie. I've been working more indoors this week, but hopefully the coming days will give me a chance to get out there and spruce up the leaf mould and compost bins.

It's a slight dusting. Very odd since I was sweating doing yard work 2 days ago 🤣

It's pretty early for anything under 50 F during daylight hours. Snow odds are low until after Christmas usually. We've been having temps in the low 70's so the ground is still quite warm.

It's snowing?!

All that kettle bell practice paid off. It did help that I wasn't working uphill, so gravity helped.

I come from a long line of terrifying peasant women. 😂

It's the 3rd of 4th time in under 3 years. I'm going to talk with our local postmaster about what I can do legally. If I can't move it further back from the road, I might build it into a brick and mortar column at the end of our drive.

The local jerk kids were out mailbox bashing last night and while the box is reinforced steel and only sort of dinged, the wood post was loosened. I sort of wedged it between two boulder chunks until I can build a better solution.

I managed to move a 100 lb chunk of limestone powered only by spite. Pic not related

There's a stand of ancient ash trees that the evil ash borers haven't ruined. It's probably the most enchanted bit of country road in my county and it makes me wish it wasn't all private land and I could wander around it.

I'm still pretending my garden clean up isn't happening.
