I'm off on holiday on Sunday and these will all be gone when I get back. So yet another photo of the wild daffodils in the field. ๐ŸŒฑ

Unfortunately this seems to be the thought process of our esteemed leader.

Lying down in this field would very likely lead to a tic infestation from the local deer!

St David's day today and the field is full of wild daffodils. They're much shorter than most of the commercial ones but absolutely beautiful, especially in such numbers. ๐ŸŒฑ

It is at the moment, but it has been the wettest start to a year that I can remember! I'm not sure how wet it normally is there.

I saw this charming little plant yesterday, but I don't know what it is. Can anyone identify it? ๐ŸŒฑ

Seeing the swifts arrive each year is a real highlight for me. I know that Reform don't want them here, but i think we should do all we can to help them.

You can eat the leaves and flowers but I was told the bulbs are not edible.

We have had heavy rain for the last month. I'd definitely rather have some nice dry snow!

England, you really do have another credible choice over Labour, Tories and Deform.

The last sunset of 2025.
It's been a year of ups and downs.
Last goodbyes to my dog, my cat and my mother.
Hellos to my first grandchild and a new dog.

I hope everyone has the year they want in 2026!

If I had known, I would have gone to see this. It looks fantastic.

It is lovely, but I think it is really busy in the summer.

We saw a lady going in for a swim at Lulworth cove. It didn't tempt me!

Bottle brush still flowering at Lyme Regis, and bees still out collecting nectar. Not bad for the second half of December.๐ŸŒฑ

I walk past this gate every day. It brings back happy memories of almost every birthday present I received as a child.
