St David's day today and the field is full of wild daffodils. They're much shorter than most of the commercial ones but absolutely beautiful, especially in such numbers. 🌱

It is at the moment, but it has been the wettest start to a year that I can remember! I'm not sure how wet it normally is there.

I saw this charming little plant yesterday, but I don't know what it is. Can anyone identify it? 🌱

A bit bedraggled after some really heavy rain, but the 1st wild daffodils were open today.🌱

Seeing the swifts arrive each year is a real highlight for me. I know that Reform don't want them here, but i think we should do all we can to help them.

Well, the rubbish weather is continuing, but this little chap brightened up my dog walking duties. 🌱

You can eat the leaves and flowers but I was told the bulbs are not edible.

We have had heavy rain for the last month. I'd definitely rather have some nice dry snow!

The wild garlic is starting to grow in the woods. 🌱

Despite living less than an hour away, I visited Durdle door last week for the first time.
(BTW park on the road, the car park is a minimum of £12.50 for 4 hours)

Bottle brush still flowering at Lyme Regis, and bees still out collecting nectar. Not bad for the second half of December.🌱
