We are still looking at the potential for a widespread damaging winds treat tonight and into the overnight with a line of storms moving through that could produce gusts up to 70mph and a small risk of embedded tornadoes.
Tomorrow evening into the overnight presents an Enhanced (3 on scale of 0-5) risk of severe weather, with significant wind damages and a few tornados possible. Winds all day before the storms will be tough too with gusts of 40mph possible.
New: Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 2:15pm. Winds and hail are the mail threats.
Storm in Tennessee City could be dropping some minor small hail.

Some small hail could be starting to fall with this line of storms moving through as well.
Line of strong, not yet severe storms will be marching through over the next 90 minutes. The main risk is strong winds, heavy downpours and lightning. We are watching this line for any signs of intensification.
We have a slight (2 on a 0-5 scale) risk of severe weather today as a line of storms marches through now until midnight. Damaging winds main threat but can’t rule out a tornado or two.
We have an 80% chance of a Tornado Watch being issued soon for us ahead of the storms.

Roads are super slick as we are in a deep freeze.

Welp, since I just experienced one, let’s discuss frost quakes.
They sound like loud “booms” but it’s water rapidly freezing and expanding causing pressure underground.
