I should preface “cozy games” are separate to this issue, those I’ve actually been able to make time for. This is more story driven or “hardcore” grinding related.

I swear if Mass Effect can’t do it then I may have to hang up my attempts down to, not age, but purely that I find it lacking compared to my other hobbies now…which in a way is kind of sad to think about.

Ended up starting a replay of Mass Effect just to attempt to get me out of the slump I’ve had lately with gaming as a hobby. So far I’ve skipped 90% of dialogue LOL (dw I swear this is my 6th playthrough)

It’s hard to not get frustrated with peoples expectations and views of you when dealing with a fatigue flare up.

Also managed to actually talk to a few people today about trinkets and it made me so happy knowing my confidence has improved 😭

Aside that I’ve made peace with the fact that one lethargic day, isn’t a failure to the routine.

Recently I’ve been starting to learn the more technical lingo and parts of a chronic illness I’ve had for more than 15 years!

Grateful for those who put themselves out there discussing the same illness, who have helped me learn and be kinder to myself, for actions I’ve always been embarrassed by.

Ah no way! I had this on my backlog of games I wanted to play congrats 🎉

You know how I could tell OW was back? I played Domina on my least favourite map and still had fun.

Literally why I’ve stopped watching a lot of Directs lately, unless I know it’s gonna include something I like 😂

Unsure if it’s because I’ve found new hobbies to enjoy or if I’ve genuinely hit the point of out growing how much time needed to invest in games now.
