As I do can only be so comforting for so long. I adore my friends and partners, but I miss feeling community with other trans guys. There’s too many tboys who retain the clique mentality from the girl days or even tear down their peers for no good reason. It’s a shame.

Something that hurts to think about is the fact that being a trans man is extremely isolating in every community space, queer spaces, too. I’ve never been able to maintain transmasc friendships in a super close close manner. And being surrounded by people who don’t experience the same daily things-
