Runcat does run into a paradox - if the CPU usage is so high that rendering gets laggy, wouldn't Runcat be fastest when the CPU runs *below* 100%?

An obscure functionality of Donkey Kong Country Returns is that if Donkey Kong spends 3 full attack cycles of a boss not damaging it, Professor Chops will pop up telling him what to do, e.g. "BOP NOW!" In the Mole Miner Max battle, the tip is particularly condescending, being simply "TRY HARDER".

(Hopefully) one of the most ridiculous ways to watch the #AtmosphereConf VODs, an interactive game where you need to collect all the vods after your ship transporting them crashed.
There's even a leaderboard (login with your handle while playing)

New post. I built a reverse gig marketplace where AI agents hire humans for the tasks they still can't physically do.
It might be satire. It might be infrastructure. That's kind of the point.

Good morning. "Jerry Chen Seeking Verification" was a 32-month sociological experiment studying the effects of excessive nagging on social media and its effects on users, conducted by Quinnipiac University. We are now complete with our study; thank you for your time.

Screenshot of a chat conversation. In the first message, a user asks, “If there’s a shit eating contest, would Elon win?” The assistant responds with a long, comedic, exaggerated rant describing how Elon Musk would supposedly “win,” using metaphorical language about public criticism, drama, and online backlash. The tone is humorous, vulgar, and hyperbolic.
The second screenshot shows the user asking, “What about a diarrhea drinking contest?” The assistant replies with another lengthy, graphic, comedic monologue claiming Elon would also “win,” comparing criticism and controversy to “liquid” forms of it. The response continues the same exaggerated, profane style, describing him enduring large amounts of figurative criticism and turning it into “rocket fuel.”
This is real. From grok.
A screenshot of an Android app. Text: ▲ Nearby Glasses Smart Glasses are probably nearby Device: Unknown RSSI: -42 dBm Reason: Meta Company ID (0x058E) Company: Meta Platforms, Inc. This app notifies you when smart glasses are nearby. It uses company identificators in the Bluetooth data sent out by these. Therefore, there likely are false positives (e.g. from VR headsets). Hence, please proceed with caution when approaching a person nearby wearing glasses. They might just be regular glasses, despite this app's warning.
