I saw this moth on a walk in Crete 🇬🇷
It has no English name but belongs to a family of twirler moths 🧑🩰
Perhaps I could therefore coin the name Auburn Twirler?

Estimated to be at least 3,000 years old, it’s the oldest tree in Europe.
It is in Crete 🇬🇷

I believe this to be Cilix asiatica - a close relative of Cilix glaucata (aka Chinese Character)
It’s also a great bird poo mimic
