INSIDER TRADING?! What’s next?! R*pe allegations?!
Wait.
Three things to do today:
1. Invest $10 in your Roth IRA (every bit toward a stable retirement matters, I promise!!)
2. Add an extra can of beans to your next grocery shopping list
3. Un shrimp yourself! Your back is begging you

Three things to do today:
1. $10 to your emergency fund (in a HYSA)
2. $10 to mutual aid or local food bank
3. Sunscreen on the backs of your hands and your ears

Note: We DO have an account there, and it’s the same handle as everywhere else - womenspf. But we have not been active there in months.
WE ARE NOT ACTIVE ON TIKTOK.
We aren’t going to DM you out of the blue in general.
Please be aware, and don’t fall for the scammers. 🫶
(This isn’t unique to our account, clearly)
Three things to do today:
1. Don't hobby shop at Target
2. Don't buy a drink from Starbucks
3. Casual overconsumption with a side of supporting oligarchs and union busters under the guise of self care isn't cute

Three things to do today:
1. Make sure you have beneficiaries listed on all your accounts (update if things have changed!)
2. Pick up an extra bag of rice/beans/shelf stable food next time you're at the store
3. Drink an extra big glass of water

WELCOME to WPF Insiders! 🎉
We are so glad you’re here! And I can’t wait to get to know you better
Since it appears that yet again someone taking about female / women centered spaces is unclear - I will be very clear.
Women’s Personal Finance is always and forever trans affirming, and trans folks are very enthusiastically welcome (and are) in our spaces.
Who isn’t welcome?
TERFs.
Ha yes!
Yep! Doctor of credit is a great place to start to compare options. And then just pick one! (You can always switch banks again later)
But what if I really, really, really don’t want my taxes to pay for bombs.
What do you consider a requirement for a “comfortable" life?
Like, what non essentials but very nice to haves are you including?
3. Scream about how are taxes are being used right now. And funnel that rage to your congresspeople, to how you spend your money otherwise, and how you show up for others.

Three things to do today:
1. Make sure your taxes are filed, put in for an extension, or made another eyes wide open, intentional choice (don’t just hide from them)
2. Add any final dollars you can to your Roth IRA for 2025 (starting tomorrow, you have to add to 2026)
Something very annoying is how people misrepresent the position of advocates as, "You want everyone to bike!"
No, we want everyone to have a multitude of safe, efficient, accessible, and affordable options, whether that's bikes, scooters, trains, buses...or simply walking.
Make it permanent!! 😍

We are deciding right now if we are to be a nation of concentration camps and ethnic cleansing. And there is much citizens can do!
I mean, is that not incentive enough?
Every purchase you don't make is a purchase of security in preparation for a general strike.
I never believed in the antichrist, but Trump will make you think twice.
Three things to do today:
1. $10 to your emergency fund (in a HYSA, pleeeeeeeaase)
2. Do one thing that brings you joy that doesn't earn or spend money
3. Stock up on a few "rescue" dinners for your freezer for the days that you're exhausted

I do want public lands to continue to exist, in fact.
(if you aren’t financially independent and have anyone who relies on your income or your labor, odds are, you need some amount of life insurance)
Three things to do today:
1. Figure out if you need term life insurance, and then start the process of getting it if you do
2. Stretch for ten minutes (trust me, your body needs you to stretch more)
3. Sunscreen your ears, too!

Ps. We have a weekly newsletter we think you’ll love, too 💚

Figuring out the money stuff is a huuuuge part in being able to leave (a big part why financial abuse is so prevalent)
That’s a big part of why we we exist here at WPF. So money is never a reason why you have to stay.
