Have we finally reached a turning point on prostate cancer screening? After years of research and campaigning, we’re closer than ever to a prostate cancer screening programme. Here’s why 2025 could be the year things finally change.

Very soon, I am going for surgical treatment for cancer.
I wanted to use this opportunity to share my journey and advocate for prostate cancer screening for men. @prostatecanceruk.bsky.social

A screenshot taken by someone on Twitter/X of Elon Musk agreeing with a tweet that shows the EU flag being peeled back to reveal a Nazi one. For Elon’s purposes here Nazis are apparently bad, but you can’t rely on that with him, of course.

The latest from an honored member of the Royal Society. Every week he attacks the foundations of society in the UK and the EU and @royalsociety.org is apparently too worried about retribution to do anything about it.

In two important ways Labour empowered Nigel Farage and Faragism this week. Both were strategic mistakes. We’ve seen this story before.

New writing from me.

Really pleased to share this story from Amphista Therapeutics on the discovery and MoA of a potent and selective BRD9 "targeted glue" degrader. The compound also works in vivo and is orally bioavailable! Fantastic work from the team on a super fun project!

Happy to share our UBR4 structures. Check out the preprint to see how this giant E4 ligase complex selects substrates for ubiquitin chain extension. We also look at conservation and adaptations across humans, nematodes and plants.

Crystal structures of DCAF1-PROTAC-WDR5 ternary complexes provide insight into DCAF1 substrate specificity - Nature Communications The authors show that DCAF1, a substrate receptor of CUL4 and EDVP E3 ligases, can be recruited by PROTACs to degrade the cancer drug target, WDR5. They also report the crystal structures of PROTAC te...

Fantastic to see more ternary complex structures of #PROTACs recruiting novel E3 ligases!! www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Hi Jordan, can you add me to the list please? Feel like I've degraded BRD4 quite a lot in the last 10 years 🤣
