Still of the view that the biggest risk in this whole mess is widespread hunger in poorer countries leading to political instability.
Sky news chiron reading "poll projects worst Labour result in London in 50 years"
Couldn't happen to a more deserving party
I think I could handle Starmer merely being a corrupt liar. I've managed it with every other PM of my lifetime. But that he's so incompetent that he sets up easy, justified attacks from the all the shittest people is hard to bear.
I'm not saying Sam Altman should be murdered, but I am saying he should live his entire life in cowering fear of that happening
Todd is a good follow
It’s a good question, let’s clear the air:
1) Disco is awesome, like 25 all-time classic tracks in a 4 year span,
2) Disco was hated because it was queer, brown, and black,
3) Disco was hated because it paired women and men in a different power dynamic.
4) “Disco Sucks” was a “ MAGA” test run.
I feel like every cis straight White guy needs to experience, just once, having been deeply wronged and risking trusting an authority figure to right it only to then have that authority wielded against them and for it to result in them being worse off for the attempt. It would teach a lot.
'So it turns out the real scandal of the Gorton and Denton by-election was the willingness of media organisations to collude in Nigel Farage's attempt to undermine the result of a free and fair election'
I'm shocked, I say. Shocked...
Simple solution to low birth rates is to learn from history. The baby boom was founded on delivering a welfare state in a unionised society with taxes effective on the wealthy, preceded by five years killing fascists and their leaders.
I am not the only Black person I know who got teary messages in 2020 from people we hadn’t seen in years demanding we tell them they weren’t racist, or apologizing for the world while maintaining they were the good ones. And we never heard from most of them again.
How to judge a politician is by asking yourself if you'd trust them to babysit your kids. If not, don't vote for them.
Imagine someone starts stabbing you, and journalists rush to describe the situation as likely to become violent.
You'd be like "it is already violent you dipshits I am being stabbed, he is literally stabbing me right now, there is no potential escalation because I am currently being stabbed"

Today would be Renee Good's 38th birthday. Let's never forget that Renee & Becca Good were a loving, lovely, lovable couple who should have celebrated many birthdays together.
Remember when the US president threatened to start a nuclear war and the UK Prime Minister took time out of his day to tweet about Kanye West?
The key part of this, is the UK will gain nothing from this. Trump will still drag Starmer for not immediately falling in line, we’ve lost the respect of our actual allies for once again being Americas lapdog, and Iran will rightfully hate us for bombing them.
Typical Starmer to lose on all fronts
This Government both want us to believe they've played a leadership role here - and that they don't know the terms of the agreement.
It's simply not plausible.
While European Allies banned US use of their airspace, we've let bombers launch from the UK.
Keir Starmer's cowardly silence today merits consequences he'll never forget.
If UK bases are plausibly involved in whatever happens tonight, it's not just the American president that should be dragged out of office.
NOW: B52 bombers are literally in the air on their way to Iran and hundreds of thousands of Iranians are in the streets waving flags and surrounding bridges & power plants.
Difficult to imagine this has any precedent in modern warfare.

he’s MIA. people are literally in fear of a nuclear exchange and he’s fucking gone.
We're on the verge of a genocidal, nuclear war that our supposed "ally" has said he's ready to unleash.
Would it be too much to ask for the Prime Minister to have something to say about it? Or do?
Suspend US bases on UK soil now.

It's important to note that whatever Trump does next, he will be doing through attacks launched from British military bases. If Starmer does not stop him using our bases immediately, he will be legally responsible for the coming genocide.
This is not a 'masculinity crisis', it's a misogyny crisis. This is not a problem with 'masculinity'-- millions of men model positive masculinity every day. This is a problem of male violence. Stop calling it 'masculinity'.

April fools... but the only joke is Labour refusing to nationalise water to protect our rivers and lower our bills
yeah what she said.
I get goosebumps thinking about these elections. Labour are gonna get utterly rat-f**ked. And it’s gonna feel like every Christmas and birthday I’ve ever had rolled into one. 🍿
