If casual fan is to mean, "Person who watched wrestlemania one time." Sure, there are lots of casual fans. But, if it is to mean, "Person who watches recurrently, but is uninformed generally about the product," this base shrinks dramatically.

Let's set some parameters, then. What are "casual eyeballs" in the context of the original post? As a follow up, if this is to mean casual fan, what is a casual fan?

Big events getting more numbers means that more people watch big events, it does not necessitate or prove the existence of some "casual" fanbase.
