you need to give at least 2 chances imo, because random disconnects can happen as a one off, so a 2nd try lets people see that it is an intermittent issue
plus, it allows less risky testing say next day where youre not sure the issues fixed

be too harsh on them, and youve turned a perfectly innocent player away from your game, which is why I went with a kind of 2 lives a day system to give a chance to see "ok the internets bad today, better stick to casuals"

you have to design it around people who live in places with inconsistent internet though
you need to give them a chance to identify intermmitent issues with their internet or ISP before punishing them as a ragequitter
plenty of places have fine internet for gameplay, just with intermittent drops

If you hit that 3rd ban say 5 days in a month, you get put into a ragers only queue in all modes until you go a month without getting that 3rd in a day ban

idk why devs are so lax on plugging
Imo you should get 1 free one a day (for disconnects, shit happents irl etc)
2nd time a day is a 5 min ban (help calm and stop rage queuing)
3rd in a day you get an hour-day ban depending on overall frequency (if nets bad that day you probs shouldnt be playing)
