The show is better than the comic in a lot of ways, because it just adapts the comics, and trims out stuff that isn't good, and adds to the things that are good.

I learned about Savage Dragon through invincible. He just does cameos, and he's not in the show.

I never read savage dragon, but I love the design of him.

It's way better than the walking dead tv show. Also don't spoil anything.

The twist with Omniman happened in 2003, and up until that issue invincible was advertised as just a spider-man clone.

The appeal of invincible is that it loves to subvert expectations, and to have big twists that you cannot get in a non creator owned superhero comic.
