"Future tech" always meant the Jetsons to me, robots to do cleaning and dull repetitive tasks plus cool travel tech. Instead it's stealing from creatives and burning tons of fuel for bad quality slop, farming "clicks"
It might be helpful when it's not just straight up fantasising info but that still comes at a cost.
Any real information it "knows" comes from somewhere. They stole that info and funneled your attention away from the human who originally had an experience you want to have. Burning a ton to do so
