This is spot on. Many insist Scotland wanting to be independent is somehow anti-English. It’s not. We’ll be delighted if England does well, but in the meantime we’d like to, and are entitled to, make our own choices.
Seems an appropriate day to remind everyone that Scotland voted 62% Remain, and that support for it has *risen* since. After the last nearly 9 years of Brexit chaos I hope that many who voted No to Scottish independence in 2014 are reconsidering that decision. We really are not ‘BetterTogether’.
