I didn't get any feedback on my question so I'm trying again. Anybody out there with an opinion or experience using dictation for writing a novel or short stories?

Authors, do you dictate first drafts rather than writing them? I'm such a terrible typist it might be a good way for me to go, but I haven't been able to get past the concept of talking to my computer as if I'm on the Starship Enterprise. Is dictation working for anyone out there? Any tips?
