I had a very rough first few months which is why I had to take a long break from streaming, but thankfully I’m doing better now and have returned!

I don’t include my just chatting part at the start of stream but any yapping that happens during the rest of stream stays. I really don’t want to do editing for my VOD channel so I just start recording when I start playing, pause the recording during brb screen, end it before raiding, then upload!

I edited my first day playing Pokemon stream into a shorter video because I know not everyone likes watching unedited twitch streams and.. it reached 30k views and 1.4k likes in the first 15 days which is wild for my channel 🤯

I started my very first Pokemon game today!

Growing up I was a Nintendo kid but for some reason never played Pokemon.

I’m enjoying LeafGreen so far and am excited to continue my Pokemon journey. 😊

I updated to the latest version of OBS because for some reason going live wouldn’t work on my husbands profile (it worked for mine so idk 🤷‍♀️)

Turns out the latest version won’t let me use hardware for encoding, just software..

Explains why my latest recording quality looked bad.

This is cool! And thankfully affiliates will be getting access to it soon.

Now I just record my streams to my PC, upload to YouTube, then transfer to an external drive. They’re better quality and I also don’t have to go through the process of appealing muted audio on Twitch if it happens.

I feel for everyone who has a lot of highlights that need to be saved in less than two months! Would be nice if Twitch gave more time.

Two years ago I started moving all these highlights to my VOD YouTube channel because I wanted to repurpose them and I was a little paranoid Twitch could just remove them at any point.. 😬

It took me probably around 9-12 months to transfer years worth of streams to YouTube.

My VOD channel recently reached 3,000 subscribers and 100,000 watch hours 🥳

I didn’t think anyone would want to watch my vods on YouTube but clearly I was wrong 😅 it’s a great way to archive and repurpose my streams.

Huh? I’m not sure we’re on the same page here.. I don’t think experience has anything to do with how much other people backseat or complain about how I’ve done something in a video game.

Something I never considered before streaming video games and uploading playthroughs on YouTube was HOW MUCH some people care how I play a game.

I love figuring things out for myself even if that means doing the wrong thing 50 times. Just let me play how I want to play.
