Is anyone up to test my geoparquet downloader qgis plugin? We want to change the directory in the latest release, which means migrating users from the old plugin to the 'new' one. If you could try out github.com/user-attachm... and let me know how it works I'd appreciate it.

Vance certainly has something of the night about him!

I believe that Overture are thinking of using it in the future to link to their hosted geoparquet.

OSGeo: UK

Nobody needs an excuse to go to Leeds, but with FOSS4G-UK coming, it's a no-brainer... uk.osgeo.org

I like that idea. I think that maybe there won't be teachers as such but facilitators. Learning needs to change anyway. The system is fundamentally how it was when I went to school, which was eons ago!

It's embarrassing how they're all bending the knee to Trump.

A thoroughly deserved win by the Pilgrims. Frank was gracious in defeat I thought. #COYG

This really works!! 😲 From Corvus on Mastodon:

"In case you weren't aware, you can just type 'bored' in the coordinates panel of QGIS and get a tile puzzle of whatever you have on your map canvas."

Promising initial results with the GeoParquet Downloader QGIS plug-in by @opencholmes.bsky.social. Many traditional GIS workflows can benefit from seamless desktop access to cloud-native data stores. This is GOOG/MSFT/OSM buildings from Source Cooperative in Leonardtown, MD.

This seems like a thing that has slowly crept into society. Also see people having conversations with the loud speaker on. It really bugs me.

Hi Linda. Did you manage to add me.
