Two images stacked
Top is a pink and shiny half-naked and possibly intoxicated Alex Jones standing around in a studio, having lost his shirt. There a bloke sat at a desk looking slightly confused.

Lower image is the new Infowars logo which now has rainbow neon letters and The Onion logo where the O is.
It's just beautiful

Scene from Men in Black:

top: Alien in drone head says "To prevent war, the galaxy is on Orion's belt"

middle: Alien nods off

bottom: Alien says "Fuck, I should have said collar. Orion is the cat behind you. That was unnecessarily confusing. Sorry, i'm just so fuckin' high"

My superpower is that I'm a former council president, but hardly anyone remembers the long ago era when I was council president. You have to take me seriously, but can't remember why you shouldn't.

The political calculation by Frey and his buds must have been people really care about Toddgate or even know who Todd Barnett is, and they're wrong on both accounts.

These folks are such bad actors. If any other department in the city shot over budget by $20+ million we'd be hearing about mismanagement and they'd be calling for resignations.

DFL Chair Richard Carlbom replying to the The Humphrey Project: "Over 37,000 people showed up to DFL caucus night this year. About half of them for the first time. I've said it on the record and I'll keep saying it: the Minnesota DFL is a big tent party and that's our strength. We don't win by shutting people out or drawing smaller circles."

A dark teal graphic with centered white text that reads "Nearly 40,000 people participated in DFL caucus night this year. They came with a wide range of viewpoints and opinions but chose to make a statement by engaging in our party. Since then,

I’ve traveled across Minnesota and seen the energy in our organizing unit conventions firsthand. It’s real, and much of it is being shaped by the frustration coming out of Operation Metro Surge. DFLers are tired of the cruelty and the constant overreach of this administration.

That’s what makes gimmicks like this so extremely disappointing and exhausting. This is the kind of stuff that makes people wary of engaging in any kind of partisan political activity.

At a time of creeping fascism, we should be looking for ways to continue to expand our coalition, not shrink it.

There will always be people in this party whose views, tactics, and even personalities don’t align with yours. And that’s okay.

But if the whole history of our party has actually taught us anything, from 1968 to 2024, it’s that we win when we do everything in our power to bring voices to the table and lose when we decide to shut voices out.

Anything less misses the moment we’re in. We can and should do better — the question is: will we?"

I posted this message elsewhere, but I think it’s important, as a party leader, to clearly call out what thehumphreyproject.com is: a divisive gimmick designed to split our party heading into our state convention. We have so many new people excited to enagnge in our party — we have to do better.

"Politics is about the improvement of [landlords] lives. It's about advancing the cause of peace and justice in our country and the world. Politics is about doing well for the [wealthy business class]."

Am I doing it right?

Powerline The inspiring story of a grassroots rebellion Powerline describes the opposition of rural Minnesotans to the building of a high voltage powerline across 43...

In high school, I read powerline, by Paul Wellstone, it radicalized me and introduced me to organizing. I feel like its very analogous to the current times with Data Centers and AI.
