I'm not the only person to have thoughts about Apple's 50th anniversary today, but these are mine:

A timely update to my #TTRPG dice rolling app, Dice by PCalc, is out now!
This release adds three new dice themes including a 50th Anniversary tribute to Apple. There's also a blue velvet dice tray, and a variety of new features and fixes.

Nobody move!

Once again, Pi Day rolls around, and I forgot to actually do anything substantial to promote PCalc.
Even worse, I added Tau in the latest release, and the Pi people and the Tau people have been at war for decades. Don't ask…
But the current iOS version is 3.14.x and so Pi wins today!

Includes some frequently requested things like woodworking fractions, support for the Indian numbering system for separators, and three new conversion categories, "Flow Rate", "Jewelry", and "Typography".
I've also tried to unify a lot of features that were only on iOS, or only on the Mac.
Enjoy!

You should ask to be put in touch with the author, they sound great!
Yeah, I’ll try and check it out!
Thanks!
Oh, interesting, nobody has mentioned that before - that’s a good suggestion! I’ll add an option next time.

Dice by PCalc 2.9 is out now!
My #ttrpg dice rolling app now fully supports all the 26 OS updates and has a shiny Liquid Glass redesign.
I've also reworked the reroll function, so it better remembers the starting state of the last dice roll.

The moment you realise the inner corner radius of the screen next to @samreich.bsky.social is _slightly wrong_ and you might be _slightly neurodivergent_.
This is your official heads-up that PCalc and Dice by PCalc are both going to be on sale for Black Friday at 50% off from this Thursday through until the end of Monday.
So, if you're thinking of buying, wait 24 hours! Or like, buy now, if you want to give me more money?
Either is good!
