Not a Girl The first time that I realised I wasn't a girl, I was visiting my dad with my girlfriend who was my boyfriend at the time. Do you follow? Anyway, I'd ran out bikinis. More specifically, I'd ran out of bikini bottoms. I'd swam too often, even the Kenyan sun couldn't catch up with all the drying that needed to be done for me to swim as often as I'd wanted to. I've always been most comfortable in the water. I'd jump in any lake I'd come across as a child, I probably still would given the chance. I live in a big city now. Manchester, to be precise. Hence, I don't come across many lakes. So, I had no dry bikini bottoms but my need to be in the water hadn't been satiated. Do you see where I'm going? Probably not but that's okay. Stay with me. What I'm saying is, I needed something to cover my cunt. Something to provide modesty for my swim. But, like I said, I was staying with my dad and my girlfriend who was my boyfriend at the time. It's important that I remind you of this because it was her — 'his' at the time - men's swimming trunks that I'd borrowed. And that was my first taste of gender euphoria. Or at the very least, the first time that I had the correct language to make sense of my feelings @t4tbutch
