I agree. I found it to be something with potential but ultimately didn't really do much sadly. Had a kick ass intro though, lol.

Other than those the only thing i can think of ive experienced at all is Getter Robo High, which i havent finished cuz there was only like two chapters of translation, and also just LMAO.

Volicia also had something before it simply called "Vapor Trail" that I just remembered. Again, mecha yuri, and it had a similar short run time but interesting plot. Even shorter with rougher animation, though.

Volicia of Pluto is an indie animation with an all female cast. It's also yuri with very little fanservice. Its runtime is very short but i remember the plot and characters being engaging for what it was.

Angela from Expelled is a fun character with a fish out of water story. Theres a moderate amount of fanservice from what i remember, but nothing egregious.

The only series I've seen that fit that havent been mentioned in the thread are Hyper Combat Unit Dangaioh, Expelled From Paradise, and Volicia of Pluto.

Dangaioh is blurry in my memory, but I dont remember the MC being terribly written or there being huge amounts of--
